Welcome to the Lookout! This 3 BEDROOM/2 BATH home comfortably SLEEPS 8 with plenty of room for everyone to gather. The Lookout offers EXPANSIVE MARSH AND RIVER VIEWS and the OPEN LAYOUT floor plan features living, dining and kitchen areas that face the river! Families and groups can revel in both the beachgoing, and tranquil marsh/river experience while enjoying the best of what Folly has to offer!

This home has all the amenities you will need, including an oversized back porch, badminton court and ping pong table. If you are traveling with pets, your pups will enjoy the FULLY FENCED IN BACKYARD. Being in one of the more unique and narrow parts of the island, you are only a couple minute walk to the 8th block beach access, only passing by 4 or 5 properties to the ocean! There is plenty of parking and room to store your beach gear underneath the house, as well as PRIVATE OUTDOOR SHOWER.  Enjoy grilling out on a SPACIOUS BACK DECK with views of beautiful Folly River, and breathtaking sunsets over marsh and river!  


Downtown Folly Beach offers local shops, markets, live entertainment, bars, and restaurants. Explore a variety of water activities, such as fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, beach combing, dolphin watching and more. Explore the east end of the island where you will find the famous Morris Lighthouse!

The location is perfect, as it is only a short golf cart ride to Center Street and is 4 blocks from the Beach! We are located just a 20 minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking as you enter the beach.

The area is certain to have something for everyone…a beautiful beach, fishing, boating, historical sites, gardens, shopping, golf, kayaking, paddle boarding; the choices are limitless. We know that this is the perfect home for your family vacation!

Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM and a door code will be provided prior to your arrival date. 

Pets must be approved upon placing a reservation. Up to two 45 lb dogs are allowed with approval. House broken and over 1 years old.

There is plenty of PARKING available. Boat or trailer parking as well.

There is a propane GRILL at the property for you to use. 

THE BUILDING IS ELEVATED, SO ENTRY IS VIA STAIRS.

This means we follow guidelines to ensure you have a peaceful, safe and memorable stay with us. In order to comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant and do NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in a $500 fine as well as result in major penalties for the homeowner.

The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am. Each property is listed with the maximum occupancy for the home (number the house sleeps). House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJ’s, etc. are prohibited.  Please remember to be kind and courteous to your neighbors and your contract states that the use of premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding residents. If the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately, without refund. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort and those of our community so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
