As vacation rental owners ourselves, we created MyOceanRental as a better way to serve home owners and vacationers alike.  With a new office at 119 East Ashley, MyOceanRental is your rental management partner solution to successfully rent and care for your vacation property.  Today we work exclusively in the Folly Beach community. We are long time residents here, know the area and local markets extremely well and have a combined over 30 years of rental experience on Folly.  To our clients, we offer exceptional service levels at highly competitive rates.

Reservation System

MyOceanRental utilizes one of the industries best, cloud hosted reservation solution. The system is hosted by our software provider and 100% secure with encryption certifications and is available 24/7. Guests can easily make reservations directly on our site or through our partner channels.  We notify our owners via email whenever there is a new booking in your home.


Guest Payments

Payments by guests will be due as follows:

  • Full payment due to secure non-peak rentals, or within 30 days of peak rentals
  • Half Payment due to secure peak, advanced reservations
  • Remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival

Payments to Owners

As owners ourselves, we understand that you have a substantial mortgage payment and other bills to take care of every month. This is why we ensure that your statement for the previous month will arrive by email on the first of every month, including holidays and weekends.  Further,  all your rents due to you will be deposited into your bank account by the 4th of the month.  If you decide to discontinue service for any reason, all monies collected on your behalf will be immediately forwarded to you.


Contracts

Standard contracts are generated via the system and accepted by guests online. Our contracts are industry approved and contain all the appropriate legal clauses and are reviewed and updated as appropriate by our retained council.

Cleaning

Every property will be professionally cleaned and serviced by our local network of professional cleaners. Each team is bonded and insured. Non-Scheduled cleanings and carpet deep-cleanings can be set up at the owner’s desire. Our service level agreement with our partners ensures you are getting top quality service every departure.

Linens

Our linens are all high, premium hotel grade quality with sheets that are minimum 200 thread count. We purchase our own linens and replace them as needed with new stock. We provide all bed linens (sheets & pillow cases), bath & hand towels, & wash cloths. All linens are serviced at each turn by MyOceanRental and the costs are charged to guests at competitive rates.

Property Inspections

MyOceanRental will ensure that your property is carefully inspected after departures using our own 30 point inspection program. Any points noted on the inspection sheet will be carefully documented and photographed if needed. We will also process any claims arising from damages and refund owners directly upon payment.

Our detailed inspections will cover the following:

Checking for general damage/maintenance items

  • Broken furniture/windows
  • Mattress damage
  • Carpet stains
  • Holes in wall, screens, etc.
  • Other general damage
  • Check of major electronics (TV, stereo, etc.)
  • Check for leaks or running water
  • Check light bulbs

All guests purchase mandatory damage protection that covers clients for up to $1500 in accidental damage, so your home is always protected.

24-Hour Maintenance

24-hour maintenance is a necessity for owners, particularly those that live several or more hours away from their vacation properties. MyOceanRental will provide access to a 24×7 contact for all maintenance items and any maintenance is performed always commission free.
