Welcome to the Wavehouse! This wonderfully unique 3 BEDROOM/4 BATHROOM home SLEEPS 8 and features an in-ground pool that was installed in 2020. It is filled with custom built touches throughout; including an inlaid surfboard in the living room floor, custom made rock countertops, the famous "wave stairwell”, as well as the impressive master suite and bath on the top level. The Wave House is pet-friendly, offers a fully fenced yard, and is only 2 blocks from the beach and 5 blocks from Center Street. Conveniently located by the Pirate's Cove Playground & Skate Park, you will enjoy the tennis and basketball court as well as a dog park. 

The house has 3 levels with an apartment on the FIRST FLOOR that is connected to the main house but also has a private entrance. It adds two additional bedrooms, one full bathroom, a living room area and full kitchen. The MAIN LEVEL opens to a spacious living room, dining room and full kitchen. The large front porch off the living room provides plenty of room for outdoor dining and entertainment. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main level as well. The TOP FLOOR is dedicated to the MAIN SUITE that offers a "reading nook" divided by 200-year-old doors from India and a large private open-air porch. The attached bathroom features all tile and custom stonework with a one of a kind OPEN AIR JACUZZI TUB! Step outside to enjoy a beautiful new in-ground POOL measuring 16' x 30' with a 9 foot deep end. Additionally, there is an OUTDOOR SHOWER with hot/cold water, a GAS GRILL and a firepit to sit around while enjoying the beautiful Folly Beach sky. 

Downtown Folly Beach offers local shops, markets, live entertainment, bars, and restaurants. Explore a variety of water activities, such as fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, beach combing, dolphin watching and more. Explore the east end of the island where you will find the famous Morris Lighthouse!

The location is perfect, as it is only a short golf cart ride to Center Street and is 3 blocks from the Beach! We are located just a 20 minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking as you enter the beach.

The area is certain to have something for everyone…a beautiful beach, fishing, boating, historical sites, gardens, shopping, golf, kayaking, paddle boarding; the choices are limitless. We know that this is the perfect home for your family vacation!

During your stay you will enjoy the following amenities: complimentary Wi-Fi, AC/Heat, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker, ironing board, all linens & towels (except beach towels). Beach equipment is not provided, but if on the property you are welcome to use it.

Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM and a door code will be provided prior to your arrival date. 

 

Pets are considered at this house: All pets must be approved at the time of the booking. Upon approval there is a $100 per pet non refundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats).

This is a non-smoking property.

No events or parties allowed.

50% Deposit required at the time of booking, the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to check-in.

A thorough deep disinfectant cleaning to CDC Guidelines is performed following each departure.

WEEKLY SUMMER RENTALS run SAT-SAT (June, July, August). The rest of the year is a minimum of 2 - 4 nights, depending on the season and are subject to change daily.

In order to comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant and do NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in a $500 fine as well as result in major penalties for the homeowner.

The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am. Each property is listed with the maximum occupancy for the home (number the house sleeps). House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJ’s, etc. are prohibited.  Please remember to be kind and courteous to your neighbors and your contract states that the use of premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding residents. If the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately, without refund. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort and those of our community so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
