Please Note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and NO parties:)

Sunny Side Up is a duplex located steps from Center Street, the main hub of Folly Beach, where you can find all the local shops, restaurants and bars, and the beach is just a short three blocks away. Featuring two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV and a fan. Sunny Side Up can comfortably sleep up to 5 people because the sofa conveniently slides out to accommodate an additional person.

Open concept kitchen/dining/living is equipped with a sofa, two club chairs and a high top dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, less a dishwasher. Outdoors, guests can relax and have a drink on the deck or enjoy the shared courtyard area with a full size grill, outdoor lounge furniture, and an outdoor shower. The private yard is fenced-in and the duplex does allow you to bring your dogs with you, upon approval with our office. Please note: there is one designated parking spot for guests of Sunny Side Down located just across the other side of Center Street.

This is a green property that features solar panels on the roof, all LED lights, and use natural gas for the water heater. It is also a ground level property, making it a great choice for guests who have trouble with stairs.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Announcements
Some welcomed news in 2024 is The City of Folly Beach will be re-nourishing our beach which is much needed! 
Although not confirmed by the city, work is expected to start around early March until mid-August 2024 and will be focused one block at a time.  While we expect this to be a net positive to everyone (more sand and larger beaches), there is a small chance that your closest beach access point may be impacted during your stay.
The city hasn’t provided any further information on more precise dates, scheduling, or sequencing.   But you can stay informed with the latest by following the below links:

You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home.
Contactless Check-In: This home offers a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. 
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am.
PARKING: There is a designated parking spot for guests of Sunny Side Up located just across the other side of Center Street. You will take the gravel driveway that goes directly behind the Crab Shack restaurant, and there is a labeled spot for Sunny Side up- right next to the Crab Shack parking lot.
This is a non-smoking property.

Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $100 (plus tax) per pet non refundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, 60 lb max per pet, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
 
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 5 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
