Welcome to Bacon in the Sun! This 4BR/2BA beach house sleeps 8 and is one of the most unique properties on Folly Beach. It’s the closest you can get to the oceanfront without actually being oceanfront! Nestled in a peaceful area of Folly Beach, this home is located on the 17th block of the East Side, offering a relaxing, family-friendly retreat with ocean views and beach access in every direction. It’s also just a short distance from the Morris Island Lighthouse Heritage Preserve, where you can enjoy stunning coastal scenery and historic charm.

The Space

- Gorgeous hardwood floors run throughout the home, adding warmth and coastal charm.
A bright, open-concept living area with large windows lets in plenty of natural light and offers partial ocean views.
Comfortable seating in the living room makes it a great place to unwind after a day at the beach.
A smart TV and high-speed WiFi ensure entertainment options for movie nights or remote work.
Thoughtful layout: The Main Bedroom wing and the three-bedroom wing can be closed off from the living and kitchen areas, providing privacy and a quiet retreat.
For safety reasons, the fireplace is not available for guest use.

Gas range, stainless steel appliances, and abundant counter space make cooking a breeze.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historical exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25-minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. 
There is plenty of parking in the driveway.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am.
**1 pet CONSIDERED up to 40lb, well-trained, non-shedding, no puppies (under one year) or cats. Your dog MUST BE APPROVED by our office before you arrive. Upon approval, a $150 non-refundable pet fee is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee is paid, you will be ready to bring your dog. Per the owner's insurance, dog breeds are not allowed at the property: Rottweiler, Pit Bull, or Doberman Pinschers. 
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees before arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
