Welcome to Bacon in the Sun! This 4BR/2BA beach house SLEEPS 8 and is one of our more unique properties. It is the most oceanfront property on Folly without being oceanfront! Located on the 17th block of the East Side of the island, guests enjoy a more relaxing, family oriented and laid-back portion of the beach. With OCEAN VIEWS and BEACH ACCESS IN EVERY DIRECTION, you will be more than happy with this awesome beach house!
Featuring gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the entire house and a fully equipped, spacious, entertaining kitchen, that consists of a giant wrap around peninsula with an island, this house has it all! It also includes a gas range, more than enough counter space for preparing meals for family and friends and seating for 8 around the kitchen table plus 4 additional bar stools off the kitchen counter. Enjoy use of the convenient wet bar between the kitchen and the living area for cocktail hour! Another unique aspect of this property is that both the Main bedroom wing, and the other 3-bedroom wing can be closed off to seclude oneself from the living/kitchen areas.
"Bacon in the Sun" showcases WRAP AROUND OVER-SIZED PORCHES off the Living Room and Main Bedroom equipped with beach-themed, Adirondack furniture for relaxing while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, the sunrise views off the Main Bedroom and porches are incredible and after a day at the beach, guests can conveniently rinse off in the private outdoor shower!
Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.

The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am.
**1 pet CONSIDERED up to 40lb, well-trained, non-shedding, no puppies (under one year) or cats. Your dog MUST BE APPROVED by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 non-refundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your dog with you. Per the owners insurance the following dog breeds are not allowed at the property; Rottweiler, Pit Bull or Doberman Pinschers. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.
Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
