Well this house exceeded all of our expectations and probably ruined every other VRBO for us. Ha! The house was better than expected. It was beautiful and so clean! The location was great for what we wanted. The house was stocked with a lot of kitchen needs from pans, spices, utensils, etc. 100/10!

My family and I had a wonderful time at 118 E Hudson in Folly Beach. The way the house was laid out was great and was the perfect size for 4 adults and our grandson (5). What we loved the most was the modern refresh to the house with good amount of charm leftover from the original structure. There were multiple zones that you could hang out in and entertain. There was the pool area with the hot tub, there was a screened in porch in the back of the house with dining as well as lounging space, and on the front of the house there is another screened in porch with a dining table and a large swinging bed. The kitchen was a good size with new appliances and more pans and bowls and dishes than you could use in a months time. The location was fantastic with restaurants and shops within a half a block, with a coffee shop with delicious pastries a 3 minute walk from the house. The beach and pier was a short 7 minute walk with easy access to a wide and clean beach. We all had a great time and will definitely rent this house in the future.

Not only is this house adorable it has all the bells and whistles. Beautifully decorated, plenty of comfortable pillows, linens, towels, AC works great both upstairs and down. Outdoor seating areas have plenty of room to spread out. Everything is new, fresh, sturdy and works! The pool was perfect and really made our week. The proximity into town was super convenient.

We loved everything about this house - from the location to the comfort level to the beautiful and unique design and decorating. Our favorite things were the big kitchen, the porch and the bed swing, the very comfortable beds, and the cozy living room where we spent a lot of time chilling out, reading, and forgetting about the real world. The house is in a great location, with easy walks to both the beach and the downtown area. Our family spent a lot of time on the great screened porch and there was more than enough room for the five of us. Our only critique would be that we had frequent maintenance staff visits (lawn service, oven repair, replacement of the grill, etc.) with no alert from management about when they would be there. We have teenage children and didn't love having people show up when they were at the house alone.

He is on a routine schedule with the house and comes by to care of the yard regularly. The grill replacement I am sure our maintenance team did not think it would be an issue as it was a quick swap out, outside the house near the driveway. As for the oven, I do believe we tried to call to let you know they were coming and had to leave a message. We do not normally stop by unannounced. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and we do hope that you stay with us again, next time you visit Folly Beach.

Wonderful stay in this perfectly located home... just a few blocks from everything to love about Folly: the beach, Berts, and everything on and near Center St! Can walk and bike from one end of the island to the other. The home is spacious and clean and has a screened in porch that's hard to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I visited Folly Beach for the first time this past week and we were very pleased with 118 E. Hudson. This Home was very charming, comfortable and relaxing. We had 3 adults and 3 children in the age of 10 and this house was perfect with enough space to just get away for some peace and quiet wether on the spacious front deck or the bedrooms. This home has everything you need for. A beach get away. It is also perfectly located half a block from Center Street and 3 blocks up from the beach. In the quiet mornings you can hear the waves while enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch. We will absolutely be back to this house on future visits.

I'm almost hesitant to send in this review because this place is going to get booked! It is just 4 blocks from the beach AND leads you right to it with a pedestrian path. One block from Centre Street means no loud noises but easy access to coffee, drinks, food, and fun! The house is discreet, not flashy, with a personal feel. LOVED IT!!!!

Our weekend stay at 118 E Hudson Ave. Was great. The house is awesome, it has a ton of space and places to sleep. The kitchen is vey usable and had everything we needed. The driveway is large enough for multiple vehicles and even a boat trailer. The location is great close to the bars and just a few blocks from the beach. We had a great time in Folly and The rental company was great to work with. We are pretty sure we want to rent this exact same house again it had everything we needed and did I mention the hosue is awesome. Thank you for a great weekend.

The house is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island. We explored the island on bikes, sunned on the beach, walked beside dolphins in the state park, and enjoyed a yummy dinner at Jack of Cups. Spent only one afternoon in Charleston since we were so content on Folly. The shower downstairs is great but the claw tooth tub upstairs is perfect for a long soak.

The house was amazing, the island even better. Beautiful place. Beautiful, colorful people. The locals are great. The house had everything you could possibly need. The porch is amazing. 2 minute walk to the beach. Bert's Market is right down the street, awesome place, be sure to check it out. Love Folly Beach!
Family beach time

Enjoyed our stay at this beach home, very comfortable and short walk to beach. Lots of room to relax, both inside and on porch. Lots of room in kitchen for family meal prep and cooking. Loved the eclectic and use of recycled items to build this house. Do feel that the master needs a TV or move the TV in downstairs living space to a wall near kitchen. Those going to bed earlier in master unable to sleep due to younger people watching TV. Upstairs trundle bed did not have a mattress. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this home.

I rented this house for my boyfriends family and I to celebrate his sisters graduation from the University of Charleston. We were all impressed from the get go and even more every time we opened a closet or cabinet. I woke up with a hankering for waffles the first morning, "Hmm, I wonder if they have a waffle maker?" answer. Yes they do! "What's in this cabinet over here?" Oh nothing, just a record player and a collection of seriously rockin albums. Nothing like making waffles with fresh berries and whip cream from Bert's, (which is two blocks away and is mostly stocked with local, organic groceries), while listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival on vinyl before making that three block walk to the beach. I definitely recommend renting a bike from Folly Beach Adventures. Super nice guys, great prices, right around the corner. We loved every second spent in this house. Playing games, listening to music, lounging with a beer and cooking together as a family. Just perfect. Stay here, highly recommended.
