Welcome to Red Sunset Sanctuary, a private Folly Beach retreat set on 0.57 acres of palms, pines, and peaceful marsh scenery. The home offers a private pool with optional seasonal heating, multiple outdoor living spaces, and a quiet west-end location just one block from the beach.

Enjoy quiet mornings by the pool, evenings around the fire pit, and peaceful marsh and Folly River views from the screened porch or upper deck. Surrounded by palms and pines, the home offers a private Lowcountry retreat while remaining close to the beach, Sunset Cay Marina, and Center Street.
Inside, the bright open-concept living and dining area provides plenty of room for the group to gather. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, oversized island, stainless-steel appliances, and generous space for cooking and entertaining.

With two living areas—one on each floor—the home works especially well for families and multigenerational groups. The upstairs living area includes a sectional, television, kitchenette, twin bunk beds, and direct access to the upper deck.
Two of the four bedrooms are private king suites with ensuite bathrooms, including one on each floor. The remaining bedrooms each have a full bathroom directly across the hall.

Pool Notice
The pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee of $50 per day, which will be added to your reservation after booking. Pool heating is available from the beginning of October through the end of April.
If pool heat is not requested at the time of booking, it must be requested and paid for at least two days in advance. Pool heat must be added for the entire stay or the remainder of the stay. To add pool heating, select the option when booking or contact our office during business hours.
Please note that during colder months, generally from mid-December through February or mid-March, the pool may not exceed approximately 75°F. Weather conditions affect pool temperature, and freezing temperatures may prevent the pool from reaching even 75°F.
A specific pool temperature cannot be guaranteed for any day of your stay. Refunds will not be issued if weather conditions prevent pool use. The pool heater thermostat will be set between 82°F and 84°F.

House Rules
Folly Beach’s noise ordinance begins at 10:00 PM and applies to private residences. Please be respectful of neighboring homes.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, and DJs are prohibited.
No pets are allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Titles II and III of the ADA and are not permitted unless the property is specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and prior approval is received from our office.
Maximum occupancy is 10 guests at all times during the stay.

Payment Policy
A 50% payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be automatically charged to the card on file 30 days before check-in.
Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

Noise Monitoring and Occupancy Policy
MyOceanRental strives to protect the comfort of our guests, neighbors, and the Folly Beach community.
To comply with Folly Beach’s noise ordinance, this property uses NoiseAware, a privacy-compliant smart-home device that measures decibel levels only. It does not listen to or record conversations.
If noise exceeds the legal limit, guests may receive a text reminder to reduce the volume. This helps prevent violations that may result in fines or jeopardize the homeowner’s vacation-rental license.
Occupancy may not exceed 10 people at any time. If occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported, MyOceanRental reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and require guests to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
